My son has been attending classes at Highest Speak for the past few months now and he has been really enjoying it! The instructors are all very engaging and passionate about what they teach and they take the time to truly understand each student. If you ask them about your child’s progress or bring up any concerns, they are able to give you thoughtful and detailed feedback, which shows me that they are paying close attention to each and every one of their students. Both my son and I have been very happy with our experience so far and would definitely recommend them to other families!

We absolutely love Sumedha! My 14-year-old son took a class last year with Highest Speak, and he still talks about the difference those few weeks made in his confidence and the way he communicates. Sumedha provided thoughtful feedback after every session and went to great lengths to tailor her instruction to each student’s unique strengths and areas for growth.

More recently, my daughter was preparing for several college interviews, including a 30-minute panel interview in front of college professors and board members. Sumedha met with her one-on-one to coach her through potential questions and help her refine her delivery. My daughter initially struggled with nerves and tended to speak too quickly, but the transformation in just two weeks was incredible.

Sumedha offered detailed, actionable feedback, assigned exercises to reinforce skills at home, and kept communication open whenever we had questions. As an example, my daughter has been participating in the school band for the last several years. During every band concert, the band teacher always has one of the students come up between songs to introduce the next song and provide a brief background on the song. While we have always encouraged my daughter to volunteer to speak, she has always refused. Imagine our surprise when at the most recent concert, she was one of the students that came up on stage to introduce the next song! I recently attended a Highest Speak workshop, and it was truly an amazing experience! The sessions were engaging, well-structured, and full of practical techniques to improve public speaking. My 13 year old daughter has been struggling with speaking in front of a room. Highest Speak has not only helped her with that skill, but also helped her develop socially! My kids just finished their summer camp, and they absolutely loved it! They took an Intro to Debate class and were so excited to go back every morning. The instructors were amazing—they made my daughter feel at ease and really encouraged her to find her voice. I was initially worried she might feel intimidated because she’s quite shy, but the supportive environment made all the difference. I can’t recommend this camp enough!

Fantastic! My 13 year old is the typical middle schooler and didn’t really converse much with anyone except his friends. After private coaching with Highest Speak, he now actually has real conversations with us (his parents) and even other adults and doesn’t just talk in teen slang! He also very surprisingly enjoyed the sessions with the instructor. We loved how they adapted to where he was at vs. pushing a certain curriculum. Great program and very nice location. Great addition to Reston, VA!

Sumedha is an incredible coach. From the very beginning, she made me feel seen and supported. She helped me build my confidence little by little and pushed me to express myself more openly and authentically. I used to hold back or overthink every word, but now I speak with a sense of ease I didn’t think was possible. I’m so thankful for her patience, encouragement, and the way she helped me find my voice. Working with her has been such a meaningful experience!

My 9 year old daughter was petrified of speaking in front of large groups, Sumedha and her team were phenomenal in getting her out of her bubble. Overall it was a fun experience which has given her a ton of confidence!!

My high school son's least favorite activity is public speaking. Let me tell you, the energy and enthusiasm by the instructors in these classes made him feel more comfortable and confident despite not knowing anyone in the room on day 1. He got really good feedback to help him improve his speaking and presence. Can't wait to see his progress with more classes on college interviews and more! Convenient, great location in Reston.
