Our Programs At Highest Speak

At Highest Speak, we believe in ingraining daily positive public speaking habits—not just preparing kids for formal presentations. We want children to feel confident speaking in any situation: in the classroom, on the playground, on the athletic field, or simply talking with parents, teachers, and friends.

All of our courses are taught by experienced, professional coaches who bring real-world expertise into the classroom. Every coach has at least a Bachelor’s degree from a top-tier school, and many hold graduate or even doctorate-level education. They make learning super fun and engaging through games, lively discussions, and interactive activities. Every class is designed so that every single student is speaking and receiving personalized feedback, ensuring children build confidence step by step while incrementally improving their skills in a supportive, joyful environment.

Core Tracks: Grades 2–4 and Grades 5–8

Our core public speaking tracks provide a structured path for growth. Each track has three progressive levels, and students must complete each level in order before advancing. Levels do not transfer between tracks—every track begins at Level 1. When moving from Grades 2–4 into Grades 5–8, students are assessed for correct placement if they’ve taken classes before.

Core Tracks:

• Fundamentals of Public Speaking – The foundation of communication. Students are introduced to storytelling, persuasive speaking, informational speeches, and impromptu practice, while building confidence and stage presence.

• Storytelling – Learning how to craft and deliver stories with expression, pacing, and creativity that capture an audience’s imagination.

• Persuasive Speech – Developing skills to build strong arguments, inspire action, and present ideas with conviction.

• Impromptu – Training students to think on their feet, organize ideas quickly, and deliver confident speeches without preparation.

• Debate (Grades 6–8) – Students start with the Fundamentals of Debate, learning structure, teamwork, and argumentation. As they advance, they move into more competitive formats, with opportunities to participate in local and even national competitions. Debate builds not only critical thinking and communication but also confidence under pressure.

High School: Grades 9–12

Because high school schedules are packed, we offer weekend intensives and mini-workshops instead of weekly classes. These focused sessions run for 1–2 days once or twice a month and dive deep into one track at a time. Students get concentrated practice and tailored feedback while balancing their busy commitments.

Add-On Opportunities

Beyond our core tracks, students can expand their skills through exciting enrichment programs:

• Kid Speak Production & Content Creation (Grades 6–9) – Hands-on experience in interviewing community members, creating fun online ads, and working as part of a production team. Students develop creativity, media presence, and teamwork.

• Social Skills & Leadership (Grades 2–8) – Focused on building confidence in social situations, collaboration, and leadership qualities that transfer beyond the classroom.

• Mic Mania (All Grades) – Informal, super fun performance opportunities held throughout the year where students can perform, share, and celebrate their growth with peers in a supportive and exciting environment.

• Performing Arts Programs (Various Grades) – Creative tracks designed to enhance self-expression and stage presence:

  • Stand-Up Comedy – Learn the art of humor, timing, and audience connection.

  • Creative Writing – Craft powerful words and bring them to life through performance.

  • Theatre – Build acting, stage confidence, and collaboration through dramatic performance.
